This notice explains what Hale Plumbing & Heating Ltd does with your personal information when you use this website or get in touch. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Hale Plumbing & Heating Ltd, trading as Hale Plumbing & Heating, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08765432), is the data controller for the information you give us. That means we decide how it is used and we are responsible for looking after it.

Our registered office is Suite 4, 2 Market Street, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 1QS. You can email us about your data at hello@haleplumbing.example.

What we collect and why

If you use the contact form, it sends us exactly this and nothing more:

• your name
• your phone number and/or email address (you give at least one)
• your postcode, if you choose to give it
• your message
• the page of this website you sent it from

We use it only to reply to you and deal with your enquiry. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked us to get back to you. If you call or email instead, we use your details in the same way.

We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without asking you first.

Who else handles it

These companies process information for us, under contract, and only to provide their service:

• Cloudflare hosts this website. When you visit, it handles your IP address and browser details and keeps short-lived server logs for security. It also receives the contact form before passing it on.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. Your browser fetches them from Google, which sees your IP address.
• Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox. It handles each message only to deliver it.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. This website sets no cookies at all.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your request, and then for up to two years in case you come back to us. If you become a customer, we keep records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. To do that, email hello@haleplumbing.example or call 0161 496 0731. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
